Where can I drop off donations?
Tulsa:

You can drop off donations anytime at our 24/7 donation bin or with a staff member on Thursdays from 11 AM – 4 PM at:

7216 E Admiral Pl, Tulsa, OK 74115.

Please call 918-992-0212 when you arrive. If those hours don’t work, feel free to email [email protected] to arrange another time.

OKC:

We’re currently finalizing our OKC donation drop-off location. For now, please email [email protected] for the most up-to-date information.

Where can I sign up to volunteer?

Can you park at our location?

We collaborate with other spaces, but our yearly schedule is planned. If you’d like us to park at your location, fill out the parking request form on our website at least one month in advance.You can also search bhm.guide on your browser for a one page digital guide for everything BeHeard.

Is the OKC trailer the same as the Tulsa one?

It’s similar but upgraded! The OKC trailer has 3 private showers, 4 washers/dryers, outdoor sinks, a shaded awning, and a built-in provider office.

What’s the purpose of a mobile drop-in center?

To bring essential services to unhoused neighbors who live far from shelters or traditional resource centers—reducing travel barriers and increasing impact.

Can my business or church sponsor BeHeard in OKC?

Absolutely. We have tiered sponsorship packages for both Tulsa and OKC. We’d love to connect with you!

How do you decide where to park the trailer?

We prioritize areas with limited access to services, based on community surveys, needs assessments, and partner input.

Do guests need an ID to use your services?

No. All of our services are free and low-barrier, with no ID or proof of income required.

Are your trailers ADA accessible?

Our current trailers are not ADA accessible, but we are actively working to build ADA trailers for Tulsa and OKC.

How do people find out about your services?

Word of mouth, social media, nonprofit partners, and direct street outreach help spread the word while passing out flyers.

How do you decide what to build next?

We listen. Our expansion comes from direct feedback from our guests, surveys, and gaps in service citywide.

How does $10 sponsor a shower?

While showers are free for guests, they cost the organization money. Sponsorships help cover water, propane, gas, shower supplies, and cleaning supplies.

How can my group volunteer?

We love hosting volunteer groups! Whether it’s a church, birthday, or friend group, email [email protected] to plan your group’s participation.

What services does BeHeard Movement provide?

We offer showers, laundry, clothing, haircuts, a job program, case management, phone charging, food, mail, lockers, and other resources.

Can you help people get housed?

Housing is the ultimate goal. While we don’t have our own housing, we work with community partners to connect people to housing resources.

Do you help with hotels?

We don’t regularly provide hotel stays. In emergency weather situations, we may have limited funds for hotels, but availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

How many loads of laundry can someone do?

Each guest can do one load of laundry per day. We currently have four washers and dryers and can handle up to 20 loads daily. We’re working on adding a new trailer with six more washers and dryers.

I’m a barber. How can I help?

We need barbers! Email [email protected]. You can bring your own clippers and supplies, or use the tools we provide.

What do I need to bring to volunteer?

Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. We provide training and supplies, so just bring a positive attitude!

Can children volunteer?

Volunteers must be at least 18years old.

How can I sponsor a shower or laundry service?

You can sponsor a shower or laundry service through our website by making a monthly or one-time donation. Your support directly impacts those we serve.

What should I expect on my first day as a volunteer?

First-time volunteers will attend an orientation session to learn about our services, roles, and guidelines before starting their shift.

How many showers does BeHeard Movement provide daily?

We currently provide about 45-60 showers a day (depending on location). The line fills up quickly, so guests are served on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I host a fundraiser for BeHeard Movement?
